- The Illustrarium | Circular Social
< Back The Illustrarium Susie’s work is inspired by nature, folklore and history, blending traditional drawing and painting techniques with a refined decorative aesthetic. Passionate about sustainability and craftsmanship, Susie carefully selects eco-conscious materials and works in small batches wherever possible. "Over the years, I’ve spent many hours in the life drawing room developing my draughtsmanship skills. Consequently, drawing underpins all of my work, and then my creativity takes shape using various media including watercolour, inks, and gouache to produce hand-rendered imagery. Then, bringing everything together digitally in Photoshop. I’ve also begun playing with Adobe Illustrator and Procreate more recently when I’m designing patterns. I love learning new skills and if you’re interested in learning more I have been known to post about the classes I take on my blog." Learn more

- Birth Happy Devon | Circular Social
< Back Birth Happy Devon Offering Hypnobirthing antenatal courses in group settings and 1-1 in and around Exeter and across South Devon. Hi, I’m Hannah from Birth Happy Devon. I am delighted to introduce myself as a certified Hypnobirthing Instructor living in beautiful South Devon. My journey that led me to hypnobirthing was transformative. I was 25, pregnant with my first baby, and apprehensive about the huge life changing event ahead. During an antenatal class we were handed a hypnobirthing book by another set of parents-to-be. We were sceptical to begin with, but after reading it we were surprised how scientific and evidence based it was. It all just made sense! My husband and I then booked a hypnobirthing course in 2017 and I truly believe it enabled us to have two incredible births with our two wonderful boys. I have been on a mission ever since to educate, empower and prepare birthing women for the most positive birth experience, for which I eventually decided to take the plunge and become a teacher with The Calm Birth School! I will give you the tools and exercises you need in my class to make informed choices about your pregnancy and birth. Ultimately, I want this to be something you are really looking forward to and your journey to meeting your baby a fantastically positive one! Learn more

I LOVE preloved fashion and am a huge advocate for rewearing! I wanted to build a community of like-minded individuals and business owners to help raise each other up and collaborate to help each other succeed - and that is why Circular Social became our next passion project. It's been amazing seeing it grow and flourish. Co-Founder Lanie Bayliss I've worked in digital marketing for a long time. Over my career, I've worked with a range of well-known brands and businesses, but I've always had a place in my heart for local Devon businesses. Working with Rebecca made me realise that local businesses need a lot more support. Rather than being in competition with other businesses in the same industry, it made sense for there to be a community to bring them together in collaboration - so Circular Social was born!
