The Makers Boutique

The Makers Boutique is a mix between an elegant fashion boutique and a working fashion studio. Laura, who rejects fast fashion practices, in favour of transparency and craftmanship, makes all her designs within the shop, meaning customers are free to feel fabrics and watch how each design is created.

Drawing on her background as a Creative Pattern Cutter for high end brands such as Nicole Farhi and Vivienne Westwood, Laura’s designs are carefully crafted using tailoring techniques, draping on the mannequin and a playful twist of origami. The timeless pieces on offer include, soft cotton cross front sweatshirts, beautiful bamboo cowl-neck tops and Oeko-tex certified cotton yoga pants.
