ColourWheel Exeter

When you attend a ColourWheel course in our lovely venue in the South Exeter area, you will not only be “amazed at what you achieve”, but you will also meet like-minded people in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Our venue is located outside of Exeter city centre just outside the village of Ide. We run classes on Tuesday’s. Our classes success is made all the easier by our wonderful teacher, Henrietta who will offer you guidance in a friendly and supportive manner.

West Town farm ia a beautiful, organic working farm home to wildlife, an old railway cutting, orchards, stream, meadows and woodland. The Farm works closely with the community on many educational projects and there is a lovely farm shop selling the farm’s organic produce.

Our classes are held in the barn which has lots of rustic atmosphere and charm but has excellent facilities. During good weather there are lots of lovely spots to paint and sketch outside. There is parking on site and any disabled parking will be arranged right outside the barn.

Our courses are aimed at beginners and improvers. We start with drawing skills using pencil and charcoal and then move on to colour pencils and pastels. We use watercolours and acrylics during our painting blocks as well as coloured inks and brusho. All of the materials are provided by ColourWheel, you just have to turn up and enjoy! Since starting our classes in 2018, many of our students have returned after their first course to become ColourWheel “returners”!
