Bex of ‘Bex & Bolt’ is a Mum, maker, charity worker and founder. In the year leading up to her 40th birthday, she challenged herself to set up a business. Following a long career in teaching, she aimed to tap into her creative side and carve out more time to spend with her young daughter. In April 2022 she made her first pair of earrings from scrap leather in the shape of lightening bolts and Bex & Bolt Jewellery was born! After just a few months she made her first wholesale orders and within two years established over twenty independent stockists.
Bex & Bolt redefines contemporary jewellery with a unique ethos, transforming scrap leather and leatherette into stunning pieces that tell a story. Each creation is a limited edition, handcrafted with care and artistry by Bex—once they're gone, they're truly gone, ensuring that every piece is as unique as the person who wears it.
